Meet Our Instructors
Gabe Nadasdy
CFI, CFII
Gabe graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1963 with a BME (Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering) and was commissioned in the US Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant.
He graduated from USAF Jet Pilot training in December 1964. Over the next six years, he flew various missions for the USAF. In 1971, he obtained his CFI. While working for Northrop Grumman, he graduated from Polytechnic University with a Masters Degree in Telecommunications Management. After 29 years, he retired from Grumman as a senior systems computer engineer and now gives flight instruction at Mid Island Air.
Gabe speaks fluent Hungarian.
