Special Flight Training Courses

Over the years we have developed some special training courses covering topics of interest to our renter pilots.
They are geared to further your flight experience in a variety of ways.  If there are any topics you would like to explore, please let us know.  Once we flew with a new owner to the Bahamas for a week…
so any flight experience is a possibility.

Following is a list of the special flight training courses which Mid Island Flight School is presently offering:

G1000 Redbird Training:

Experience flight in a full Glass Cockpit, just like the airlines.  This transition training  will give you an overview of equipment, components and systems, of the G1000 glass panel. All training sessions flown in our Redbird FMX full motion flight simulator. Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the G1000 before you go into a plane.
