Poker Run Rules
All participants in each aircraft must have a separate registration. To register, visit www.li2daywalk.org/flyin.asp. Registration is open from March 1st – May 10th. Cards will be available for pick up between May 1-15. Prizes will be awarded at the Open House (ISP) on May 15th. You may only receive one playing card, per hand, from each airport and may not collect more than five cards per hand. Registration is $30 which includes one hand. Up to four additional hands may be purchased for $10/hand during the registration. For example, if you register and pay an additional $20, you will be entitled to pick up 3 cards (different decks and marked with your ID number) at each airport you visit. You will have 15 cards, 3 from each separate deck. Your poker hand must be made up of the 5 cards in the same deck, you cannot take the best 5 out of 15 cards to win. Each night, the FBOs will fax a list of the participants who picked up their cards so we can track your progress. Two weeks are allowed for weather considerations.
All hands must be received at the Mid Island Air Service FBO at LI MacArthur Airport by 1200 on Saturday, May 15th. No hands will be accepted after that time. Need a pass? If you miss one airport, you may purchase ONE card per hand at ISP when you turn in your cards ($20/card charge). No hands will be accepted after that time.
Not happy with your hand? Want to have one more chance to turn those two pair into a full house, you may surrender ONE card and pick a new card at ISP to complete your hand (one per hand - $10/card charge). Winners will be announced at the close of our Fly-In/Open House at ISP on Saturday, May 15th. Mid Island FBO is located at the approach end of Runway 6. Company Unicom: 123.5
