Brian Greene
CFI
Brian has loved aviation for as long as he can remember. He grew up under final approach to runway 24 into MacArthur Airport and would constantly be exposed to all types of aircraft flying overhead. One day he decided aviation was the only career he would be happy with. He enrolled in the Aviation Career Training Program in Sachem H.S. East where he received his private pilot certificate free of charge thanks to the Second Wind Aviation Safety Foundation!
After he received his private pilot certificate he started renting Cessna 172's from Mid Island to bring his friends and family up. He went on to receive a B.S. in Aeronautical Science at Farmingdale State College in 2010. Brian has accumulated a lot of his flight time working for Skydive Cape Cod as a jump pilot flying a Cessna 182 out of a small grass airport, hauling skydivers up to 10,000 feet. Brian is also a USPA licensed skydiver!
"I love anything that has to do with being in control of the air! I love to fly airplanes...but I also like to jump out of them! Flying and Skydiving give me intense feelings that not many people have the privilege to experience. I'm glad I can give my knowledge of aviation to the next generation of pilots here at Mid Island Flight School."
Brian also owns a professional mobile DJ entertainment company and in his spare time he enjoys; rock climbing, skiing, sailing, skydiving, and backpacking.
