Christopher Tremblay has been around aviation since he was born. With his father being a retired military pilot and owner of several aircraft, his desire for aviation started young.

After taking his first airplane ride with our very own instructor Gary Spence in 1990, he was hooked. He began his flight training through Mid Island while attending the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Suffolk Aviation Academy during High School.

He graduated Patchogue - Medford High School with his Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating. He moved onto college, attending Florida Institute of Technology then onto Embry Riddle Aeronautical University graduating in Professional Aeronautics. He now teaches the BOCES program at Mid Island Brookhaven. Holding pilot ratings as Commercial Pilot Single and Multiengine Land, Instrument Airplane.

Christopher earned and received his FAA Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor in 2005. Currently his FAA instructor ratings are CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI, IGI and FAA Gold Seal. Christopher??™s career goal is to become a Flight Paramedic for the Suffolk County Police, then move onto flying the emergency medivac helicopters for the Police Dept. Christopher would like to extend his special thanks to the knowledgeable, caring and dedicating staff & Instructors of Mid Island Air Service for helping him succeed to his achievements.

In his free time Chris enjoys rock climbing, SCUBA diving, being an EMT, and flying.
