Hi, my name is Christopher Valenti from Wading River, New York. I began flying in 1993 after my older sister gave me a gift certificate to fly at Bayport Aerodrome, a grass airstrip in our hometown. During high school I enrolled in the Eastern Suffolk BOCES program where after two years of hard work I earned my private pilot certificate.

In the fall of 1995 I began my freshman year at Dowling College. There I continued to study aviation and after four years graduated with a degree in Aeronautics and Management. While at college I earned my instrument, commercial, multi-engine, and instructor certificate. In addition to school I worked at Islip Airport as a ramp operations supervisor and training coordinator.

During my last semester of college I began instructing for Mid Island Air where I worked with many students and accumulated hours rapidly. Today, after flying for two different airlines for a few years I work for a family owned company as a HVAC technician. I enjoy flying both with my students and my family and hope to soon purchase an aircraft of my own.
