Born in the USA, but raised in France, aviation was a foreign concept to him until a friend of his invited him to Le Bourget air show. From here on out, finding out what magic had taken place that weekend would become his goal, and he was not going to let a minor detail such as not being fluent in English become an issue.
He therefore set out to mix in an English crowd for a year in the Dowling College dormitory to learn the language. Unbeknownst to him, leaving back for France would prove to be difficult after falling in love with Long Island and American culture. Instead he decided to stay to pursue a bachelor's degree in professional pilot, while learning how to fly, first with Dowling College, and then with Mid Island.
After obtaining his commercial license and multi-engine ratings, he sought his CFI to be able to join the team, and fan the aviation flame in others while also seeking additional ratings.
